The panna cotta

Soft and light, panna cotta are appreciated as a dessert and can be flavored endlessly. They are made without difficulty, with a touch of gluttony.

Ingredients :

  • 4 kiwi fruit
  • 20 cl liquid fresh cream (30%)
  • 20 cl of milk
  • 2 sheets of gelatin
  • 20 g powdered sugar

Steps :

1. Soak the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil with the sugar.

2. Off the heat, add the gelatin that has been wrung out beforehand, stirring with a wooden spoon.

3. Leave to cool then distribute the cream obtained in verrines. Reserve 4 hours in the refrigerator.

4. Peel the kiwis and blend them in a blender. Pour the coulis obtained on each verrine and serve.


Smoothies

Perfect for a vitamin breakfast, smoothies are popular and the recipes are endless! To make them, it is essential to have a good blender, an essential tool for making mixed preparations.

Ingredients :

  • 2 yogurts
  • 2 bananas
  • 15 cl of milk

Steps :

1. Peel the bananas then place them in the blender. Add the milk and yoghurt then mix until you obtain the desired texture.

2. Pour the smoothie into a glass with a few ice cubes and enjoy!


Cream soups

Perfect for warming up and comforting yourself after a cold day, the veloute is a classic with the good taste of vegetables. It is flavored as you wish, with a little cream and why not a little cheese.

  • 3 white leeks
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 30 g of margarine
  • 3 tbsp. cream
  • 1.5 cl of water
  • Salt pepper

Steps :

1. Cut the leeks into thin rings then peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.

2. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and saute the leeks for 5 minutes over medium heat.

3. Pour the water into the pan and add the potatoes. Let cook for 15 minutes covered.

4. When the potatoes are tender, pour the contents of the saucepan into a blender and mix everything with the cream, salt and pepper.

5. When the veloute is ready, reheat it if necessary and serve with a drizzle of liquid cream.


Compotes 

Among the many blender recipes, compotes can be eaten all year round and are perfect for cooking fruit that is a little too ripe or damaged.

Ingredients :

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 4 ripe kiwis
  • 4 apples
  • 100 cl of water

Steps :

1. Peel the fruit, deseed them if necessary then cut them into pieces.

2. Place the water in a saucepan and add the fruit. Heat until fruit is tender.

3. Pour everything into a blender and mix lightly to obtain the desired consistency.

This recipe can also be made with a heated blender, by selecting the “compote” program.


Sorbets 

Tasty and refreshing; sorbet is the star of the summer! Banana, strawberry, peach, kiwi, lemon… there will be something for everyone!

  • 450 g of kiwi fruit
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1 C. lemon juice
  • 1 C. sweetener
  • A few fresh mint leaves

Steps :

1. Peel and cut the kiwis into pieces. Place them in a blender with the orange juice, lemon juice and sweetener.

2. Mix until you obtain a fine puree then pour everything into an ice cream maker and allow to set.

3. Serve the sorbet in a ball and reserve it in the molds provided for this purpose, with a few mint leaves.


Spreads (hummus)

For the aperitif, delight your guests with delicious homemade spreads. And for those who are not hummus fans, here are some quick and easy recipes!

  • 1 large can of chickpeas
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. tablespoon sesame cream (tahini)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Olive oil
  • A pinch of cumin powder
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt

Steps :

1. Drain the chickpeas and reserve some juice. Place them in a blender and add a little chickpea water if necessary.

2. Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt and a drizzle of olive oil.

3. Mix until you obtain the desired texture and season again, if necessary.

4. Serve the hummus with a drizzle of sesame oil.
