  1. Technology
  2. The best and most anticipated video games of 2022

Wizards, supercars, zombies, Legos, some Pikachu, soccer Mario, stray cats… this year is full of great games and here you have them all.

Have you been outside, watched the news on TV or at least looked out the window lately? Then you will know that the way things are in the world, we still need video games like never before to entertain us and abstract us at least for a while from the bad news that surrounds us. Luckily, the great games have not stopped arriving in recent months.

Already in 2020, in that unfortunate confinement, we were lucky enough to be able to flee to the Animal Crossing island and pass the Zelda Breath of the wild for the fifth time . Although we were stuck at home for so long, it even made us reinstall the old Football 5 PC . Hell, at the time even playing Pong seemed like a good option. Of course that would have been better than playing the disastrous Cyberpunk 2077 no matter how much our beloved Keanu Reeves came out.

Then 2021 arrived and with it a good handful of great games like the definitive edition of the GTA trilogy or the Guardian’s of the galaxy . We have also been able to see how the new generation consoles behaved after a few months on the market and we have even been left wanting Nintendo to give us a little more chicha on its OLED Switch.

But we can’t live in the past, no more than three paragraphs at least, because as Gordon Gekko said on Wall Street , money never sleeps… and neither do games. The big companies already have a lot of spectacular releases on the horizon for us, including the return of much-loved franchises and many new features as well.

From the long-awaited fantasy RPG Elden Ring that we’ve already been able to get our hands on (and what a glove!) to the new adventure of the bearded Kratos in God of War Ragnarok , there will be no shortage of exciting titles that will make players lose hours of sleep and euros in your current account in the coming months. As we already imagine that if you have read this far, you know something about games, surely we do not need to tell you that it would not be unusual for any of these titles to be delayed until 2023, but for now, this is all we know… which is not little.
