The year is coming to an end and that is why we have decided to take stock and remember which are the best PS4 games (we will do the same with the rest of the platforms).
To do this, we have reviewed our analyzes this year and collected in this report the five titles that appeared on the Sony console that have obtained the highest marks in them. Are you ready to discover them?
5. BioShock The Collection
This year we have been able to return to Rapture and Columbia thanks to BioShock The Collection , a compilation that includes the three remastered installments of the 2K Games saga. In addition, this title also contains all the DLC that came out in its day for the different installments, so it offers the most complete experience of the BioShock saga.
A luxurious opportunity to live three of the most acclaimed adventures of the last generation but with the graphic benefits offered by the present. BioShock The Collection is a must for all those users who have not yet played this franchise and for true fans of Big Daddy. And if you don’t believe it, check it out with our BioShock The Collection analysis , where we gave it a 93.
4. NBA 2K17
2K Games has hit the nail on the head for another year with NBA 2K17. Its sports simulator has become one of the best PS4 games of 2016 thanks to its MyCareer mode, which continues to show that sports games can have a worked story, its mechanics, and its visual aspect.
NBA 2K17 is, without a doubt, the best sports simulator that has been released this year and knows how to perfectly convey all the atmosphere and emotion that surrounds the games of the most important basketball league in the world. If you want to check why we say it, don’t miss our NBA 2K17 analysis , where he got a 93 grade.
3. Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Adam Jensen returned to video games this year to once again offer us a science fiction adventure as only he knows how. Deus Ex Mankind Divided takes everything good from its predecessors and improves it to offer one of the best games of the year, mixing such exciting genres as role-playing and action.
With Deus Ex Mankind Divided, the Eidos team has been able to offer a dense and fast-paced story, worthy of a movie, accompanied by spectacular visuals. But this adventure still keeps many other secrets that we tell you about in our Deus Ex Mankind Divided analysis , where we give it a final grade of 95.
2. Dark Souls 3
There is no doubt anymore: Everything that FromSoftware touches turns to gold. If last year they captivated us with Bloorborne, in 2016 they have done so with Dark Souls 3. This new installment edited by Bandai Namco follows the same path as its predecessors and once again offers us an ARPG in which we must study our enemies well to repel their attacks and stay alive.
A formula that does not tire us and that takes us back to the golden age of video games, when overcoming a new adventure was a real challenge. And if we add to all this a spectacular boss design and a very good level of connection with previous installments, we come across a title worthy of being among the best PS4 games of 2016. Something that we demonstrated in our analysis of Dark Souls 3 , where we gave it a 95 grade.
1. Uncharted 4
But the absolute king of the year on the Sony console could not be other than Nathan Drake . Console users had to wait longer than they thought to see the return of the adventurer created by Naughty Dog , but when he returned, he did it in style. Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End is the best PS4 game of 2016 !
A fast-paced story, even more refined mechanics, a very fun multiplayer and a heart-stopping visual section, have made us fall in love at first sight with Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End. A game that has marked the way forward for everyone who tries to really succeed on PlayStation 4. And we already said it in our analysis of Uncharted 4 The Thief’s End : We are facing a movie game and that is why it took a 98 note.
