Netflix and its global event called “Tudum” launched hostilities for the end of the year on the platform. Here is an overview of the new seasons and new films that await you in the coming months.
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown hosted Netflix’s (global) fan event ‘Tudum’ with Jamie Foxx. The duo guided viewers through announcements, sneak peaks and bloopers – among others from Stranger things 4 and Bridgerton . Actors and actresses Gal Gadot, Jenna Ortega, Chris Hemsworth and stars of The umbrella academy were also invited.
The crown
The launch date of the fifth season of the hit series The Crown is scheduled for November 9 . The story is set in the 1990s and deals with, among other things, the tragic death of Princess Diana.
The witcher
The third season of The Witcher , which chronicles the adventures of wizard Geralt von Riva (played by Henry Cavill), will only have an approximate launch date: summer 2023. Not much is known about the plot of the third season either. In addition to Cavill, actresses Freya Allan (who plays Ciri) and Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) will again be present. Additionally, a few new characters will appear, including Gallatin, Mistle, Milva, and Prince Radovid.
The witcher: blood origin
The first spin-off of The witcher: blood origin, takes place in the world of elves, 1200 years before the original series. The spin-off tells the story of seven outcasts who band together to fight against forces that nothing can stop. The series will debut on December 25 on Netflix.
Shadow and bone
Fans have been waiting for the second season of Shadow and bone since April 2021. Netflix is yet to reveal an official launch date, but promises the new episodes will be live in 2023.

Wednesday
Fans of The Addams Family have already seen a few trailers for the emerging series Wednesday. The Red N platform released a clip showing Wednesday grabbing the hand for his shenanigans. Also, the series gets a launch date: November 23, 2022.

Amateur stalker and murderer Joe Goldberg is back! Netflix has announced that the first part of the fourth season will be released on February 10. The second part will be released a month later, on March 10, 2023.
In a first teaser, Netflix presents several new characters and Joe tells that he now lives in London and that he has a new career as a teacher.
Vikings: Valhalla
The story of Vikings Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eriksdotter and Harald Sigurdsson continues in 2023. Netflix has announced the second season of Vikings: Valhalla and released a preview. In a last attempt, the heroes want to win against Olaf (not the snowman) and his warriors.
Lupine
A real popular tidal wave from its first season, the Lupine series is back for a third installment. After his son is kidnapped by dangerous people in the second season, the charismatic Diop (played by Omar Sy) disappears. This is what the first teaser of the new season shows. We don’t know the release date yet.
Pinocchio
Pinocchio will also be entitled to a release in December. To explore the legendary Italian tale, talented and imaginative filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro will bring the wooden puppet to life.
Enola Holmes 2
Stranger Things superstar Millie Bobby Brown finds the costume of legendary detective Sherlock Holmes’ little sister in Enola Holmes . Netflix has released the official trailer for this new chapter, which will be broadcast from November 4.
Little Nemo and the world of dreams
In November, Jason Momoa will star in the adventure film Little Nemo and the Dream World. In a first video, Momoa explains the rules of the dream world to a young girl in search of her missing father. Momoa stars as Flip, a half-man, half-monster creature who helps young Nemo (Marlow Barkley) on her quest.
1899
The new series from Dark creator Baran Bo Odar is slated for November 17th. The plot is simple: the series follows the mysterious circumstances of the journey of a boat of immigrants from Europe sailing to New York. The passengers come from different backgrounds and do not know each other. When they discover another ship adrift in the open sea, missing for months, their journey takes an unexpected turn. Mystery at sea for this German series.
Heart of stone
In the action-thriller Heart of stone , Gal Gadot is in the skin of a woman who lives only for adrenaline. Alongside Gadot are Matthias Schweighöfer and Fifty Shades of Gray star Jamie Dornan. Nothing is known about the plot yet. Netflix has yet to set a date for the feature film.
The School of Good and Evil
The school for good and evil is based on the book series of the same name and is about a school that trains heroes and villains. During the “Tudum” fan event, Netflix released a first clip for the film, which will be available from October 19.
Bridgerton – Spin-off
The historical drama Bridgerton has had the effect of a bomb. It’s no wonder, then, that Netflix is already producing a spin-off. During the “Tudum” event, a first trailer for Queen Charlotte: a Bridgerton story was shown. Netflix has announced the launch of the series for next year.
The mother
Jennifer Lopez is back in front of the camera and plays in the thriller The mother a hitman who tries to save her daughter from malicious men. The film will be released in May 2023.
