Why do we love? Yes, the film is predictable. We don’t watch it to find the best acting of all time, but the promise is there: we have a chill, funny, good mood moment. And we really need it!

2. Someone good

The pitch: “ After a devastating breakup on the eve of leaving San Francisco to pursue the career of her dreams, Jenny (Gina Rodriguez) decides to enjoy one last fling in New York with her best friends, Erin (DeWanda Wise ) and Blair (Brittany Snow). Someone Great is a romantic comedy about love, self-discovery, and the importance of friendship.”

Why do we love? He only gives one desire: to call our best friends to tell them that we love them!

3. To All the Boys: Always and Forever

The pitch:  In the 3rd and final part of the “To All The Boys” series, we find Lara Jean (Lana Condor) preparing for the end of high school and entering adulthood. A trip to South Korea, her mother’s country of origin, will lead her to imagine her life with her family, her friends and her boyfriend Peter (Noah Centineo) after her proclamation.

Why do we love? If you loved the first two movies as much as we did, you can’t miss the final chapter of this cult romantic comedy.

4. The loving witness

The pitch: “ A man in love with an engaged woman tries to seduce her after she asks him to be her best man.”

Why do we love?  If the handsome Patrick Dempsey as the main character is not enough to convince you, “The Love Witness” is a hilarious and tender comedy that promises an evening full of emotions.

5. A Star is Born

The pitch:  “A young singer falls madly in love with a seasoned musician. As she achieves dazzling success, her mentor gradually sinks into a tragic spiral.”

Why do we love? Need to have a good cry and release the pressure? Press PLAY!

6. Desperadoes

The pitch: “ Wesley (Nasim Pedrad) is tired of one-night stands. So when she meets Jared (Robbie Amell), who seems straight out of a romance novel, she’s ready for anything. to make it work. Even flying to Mexico to try to erase a spicy email she sent him after a misunderstanding.”

Why do we love? Desperados is a film to do good, without fuss. With his degree of madness and a feminine friendship as we like them, all that remains is to prepare the popcorn for a successful evening.

7. How to get dumped in 10 lessons

The pitch:  “An advertiser bets with his colleagues that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days, but the one he chooses has very different plans.”

Why do we love?  A must-see that we enjoy watching every year, around February 14th. Good vibes only!

8. Love & other drugs

The pitch: “A medical visitor accustomed to wreaking havoc around him comes up against a young woman who seems oblivious to his charm.”

Why do we love?  Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway make an amazing duo in this funny and touching film.

9. Malcolm & Marie

The pitch? “ The relationship between a director (John David Washington) and his girlfriend (Zendaya) is tested when they return from the premiere of his latest film and await the return of critics.”

Why do we love? The long-awaited feature film by Sam Levinson promises a love story without taboos or glitter, all in black and white. Intimate atmosphere guaranteed.

10. Call Me By Your Name

The pitch?  “During the summer of 1983, in the Italian countryside, young Elio forges a powerful bond with Oliver, his father’s charismatic research assistant.”

Why do we love? In a Dolce Vita atmosphere, “Call Me By Your Name” is a gem of sensitive and moving cinema.

11. Every Day

The pitch:  “This adaptation of a bestseller follows a teenage girl who falls in love with a wandering spirit who travels through a different body every day.”

Why do we love?  A love story between two teenagers that really stands out. The message: we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, so let’s take advantage of what we have: today, there, now!

12. Eat, Pray, Love

The pitch?  “To restore meaning to her life after her divorce, Liz (Julia Roberts) travels around the world in search of good food, spirituality and love.”

Why do we love? Vibrant, this film makes us want to let go of everything, to go to the other side of the world, in search of ourselves!

13. Love & Amnesia

The pitch:  “As a subscriber to one-night stands, Henry falls in love with Lucy, but the young woman suffers from a form of amnesia and, every morning, he has to win her back.”

Why do we love?  An atypical love story told by a sparkling duo that quickly makes us go from laughter to tears.

14. Marriage Story

The pitch?  “Oscar-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach takes an incisive and emphatic look at a family holding together despite a failing marriage.”

Why do we love? The director offers a compassionate look at marriage and family life through a beautiful cast.

15. The Half of It

The pitch?  “When Paul (Daniel Diemer) asks smart but shy Ellie (Leah Lewis) to write a love letter to Aster (Alexxis Lemire), she doesn’t expect to befriend the boy. Let alone fall in love with the same girl as him. In the process, each teaches the other about the nature of love, as they find connection in the most unlikely places.”

Why do we love? The Half of It is a love story different from those we know, which teaches us about love and friendship through the eyes of two teenagers.
